PTIS is different than most packaging consulting groups. When PTIS started in 2001, we wanted to bring some new thinking and approaches through our management consulting practice. A forward future thinking, foresight, consumer understanding and insight along with new approaches to the packaging development process. We started out by developing programs around the future and where packaging was and needed to go. We developed the PTIS Future of Packaging™ Multi-sponsor program in 2004 and brought in companies from across the packaging value chain to pre-competitively collaborate and identify what possible future states packaging might evolve to over the next decade.
In a rapidly changing world, businesses need to think ahead. This is why futurists matter — not to predict the future, but to help companies think about it in an organized and strategic way.
